Job summary

Baystate Health in western Massachusetts seeks a BC/BE Medical Oncologist with a focus in thoracic oncology and an interest in head & neck cancers to join the Baystate Medical Center faculty. The role blends clinical excellence with academic activity, including teaching and research across a robust cancer program.

You will shape a subspecialty practice within an integrated cancer program, collaborate across disciplines, and participate in trials to advance thoracic and head & neck oncology care.

Qualifications

• ABMS Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology (Hematology/Oncology).
• Demonstrated interest or fellowship training in thoracic oncology; experience or interest in Head & Neck cancers preferred.
• Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with thoracic malignancies within a multidisciplinary framework.
• Collaborate with surgery, pulmonary medicine, radiation oncology, radiology, and pathology.
• Participate in tumor boards, care pathway development, and programmatic growth in thoracic and head & neck oncology.
• Lead or contribute to clinical trials and engage in teaching and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students.

Education
