Job summary

Tufts Medicine in Boston seeks a Thoracic Oncologist to lead the Medical Oncology component of the Thoracic Oncology Program. This role offers an opportunity for groundbreaking cancer research and mentoring future medical oncologists.

Qualifications

• Passionate advocate for excellence in oncology care for all patients.
• Experience with industry-sponsored phase 1 research highly valued and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology Program.
• Participate in the weekly lung cancer-specific multidisciplinary tumor board.
• Provide patient care at Tufts Medical Center.
• Collaborate in ongoing development of the Thoracic Oncology Program.
• Contribute to teaching and mentoring in the medical education.

Experience in chemotherapeutic agents

Experience in targeted biologic agents

Experience in immunotherapeutic agents

Clinical trial implementation and research experience

Education

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology
