Job summary

Flathead Valley Community College seeks a Proctor to coordinate testing services for FVCC internal and external needs. Responsibilities include scheduling, proctoring, and arranging alternative testing locations for students in career and technical education programs.

The role requires managing test center procedures, ensuring compliance with testing agencies, and supporting instructors and students with test-related logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree with two years of educational experience.
• Experience as a test proctor/administrator preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot computer problems.
• Strong record-keeping and spreadsheet/word-processing skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Administers/proctors exams for FVCC courses and external institutions.
• Creates and manages test schedules within testing software and maintains a master schedule.
• Ensures the test center complies with regulations from testing agencies.
• Assists students with test center policies and procedures.
• Maintains a secure testing environment and logs tests/exams.
