Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC seeks a board-certified General Surgical Pathologist with subspecialty interest in GI/Liver, Head and Neck/Endocrine, Gynecologic, or Dermatopathology. Ideal candidates have post-fellowship experience or fellowship training and are eligible for South Carolina medical licensure.

You will join a collaborative department with extensive translational research opportunities, participate in tumor boards, and contribute to teaching

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified in General Surgical Pathology.
• Academic orientation with interest in research and teaching.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with clinicians and researchers.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues and clinicians.
• Serve as diagnostic resource for subspecialty surgical pathology cases.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows; participate in tumor boards and academic activities.
