MUSC Health, located in Charleston, SC, seeks a board-certified General Surgical Pathologist to join its esteemed Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. This role requires experience or interest in subspecialties such as Gastrointestinal, Gynecological, and Dermatopathology.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative attitude. The position includes expectations of engaging in clinical research and instructing medical students and residents.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of post-fellowship experience is preferred.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in South Carolina.
• Participation in clinical and/or translational research endeavors is expected.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the diagnostic resource for subspecialty surgical cases.
• Participate in the academic mission of the Hollings Cancer Center.
• Instruct pathology residents and surgical pathology fellows.
