Job summary

• BA degree is required and a background check will be conducted.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Experience with providing instruction based on IEPs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction as outlined in student IEPs.
• Manage and offer support services based on general academic expectations.
• Maintain a quiet, orderly and productive learning environment.
• Provide information and materials for students.
• Provide tech support to students as necessary.
• Maintain regular contact with parents by phone, meetings or in writing.
• Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding accommodations and strategies.
• Provide feedback on classroom expectations.
• Support students on specific assignments.
• Attend team meetings as necessary.
• Write IEPs.
• Provide testing accommodations for standardized tests.
• Keep accurate attendance records.
