Qualifications

• BA degree required and ability to pass background check.
• 2+ years of middle school math teaching preferred.

• Interest or experience in integrating the arts.

Responsibilities

• Teach five classes of middle school math.
• Use an anti-racist, anti-oppression framework to align curricula with objectives.
• Create a respectful classroom atmosphere and clear norms.
• Plan curricula and prepare course expectations and materials.
• Assess student work and provide timely feedback via PowerSchool.
• Apply PVPA standards-based grading for progress reports.
• Attend regular collaborative team meetings and school-wide PD.
• Meet with students/parents as scheduled (open house, conferences).
• Coordinate with special educators to meet diverse learner needs.
• Undertake other duties as required.
