Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School (PVPA) in South Hadley, MA seeks an Academic Support Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to support middle school students under the Director of Student Services. You will provide instruction per IEPs, manage support services, and maintain a productive learning environment.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree and SPED 5-8 certification (or within one year).

PVPA has an opportunity for an Academic Support Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for a reflective practitioner who enjoys working with colleagues and loves working with middle school students. Located in South Hadley, Massachusetts, Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School serves 400 students in grades 7-12 who come from over 60 cities and towns. Other Information/Instructions

Salary Range: $43,268 to $68,719 annually. Additional $1,000 stipend for individuals who hold a DESE license in subject area and potential for bonus at the end of the fiscal year. Eligible for $1,000 sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement.

2026-2027 school year consists of 180 school days plus 5 professional development/curriculum work days and a thirty-five hour work week that includes, on average, three class blocks per day of collaborative/independent work time.
