Job summary

The Valley College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an Academic Support Specialist to enhance student success through advising, tutoring coordination, and learning support. This full-time role is based in the Phoenix area and reports to the Associate Dean, Academic Affairs and Assessment.

Qualifications

Position Description

The Academic Support Specialist at The Valley College of Osteopathic Medicine (The Valley COM) plays a key role in supporting student success by providing academic advising, tutoring coordination, and learning support services. This position works closely with students, faculty, and administration to promote retention, academic achievement, and overall student well-being. Reporting to the Associate Dean, Academic Affairs and Assessment, this is a full-time position based in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
