Job summary

The Valley College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an Academic Support Specialist to enhance student success through advising, tutoring coordination, and learning support. This full-time role is based in the Phoenix area and reports to the Associate Dean, Academic Affairs and Assessment.

You will collaborate with students, faculty, and administration to promote retention and academic achievement, while embracing flexibility and continuous improvement in service to our students and community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Experience working in higher education is preferred, especially in health sciences or medical education.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technologies.
• Commitment to student success and institutional mission.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
