Job summary

Charter Schools USA Inc. in Florida seeks an Academic Support Specialist to develop lesson plans and establish rapport with students, staff, and parents.

You will motivate students to build a strong educational foundation aligned with state standards and CSUSA goals. You will lead in-person training for school leaders and curriculum teams, visit campuses, and provide feedback on professional development and instructional resources.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Leadership or Curriculum & Instruction required.
• 2-5 years related experience and/or training; commitment to company mission and values.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and educational technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate in-person and mobile training for school leadership, curriculum teams and state team members.
• Conduct school support visits alongside CSs, fostering a coaching and mentoring relationship.
• Provide feedback to CS team members regarding development and facilitation of professional development and assessments.
• Foster collaborative environments with leadership teams, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Facilitate reviews and adoptions for instructional resources, programs, software, and materials.
• Develop CSUSA FL curriculum maps and assessments and manage annual updates.
• Provide guidance on state standards, courses offered, and state assessments.
• Advise on data sources, data disaggregation and use to drive targeted instruction.
