Job summary

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree or higher (or two years of college), MTTC Basic Skills, WorkKeys, and ETS Paraprofessional Assessment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher; or completion of at least two years (60 semester hours) with required tests.
• Passing scores in Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics, and Writing via WorkKeys; MTTC basic skills.
• ETS Paraprofessional Assessment must be met.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with supervisors, staff, families, students and the public.
• Work independently and in teams to complete duties and assignments on time.
• Monitor and manage student behavior to ensure a safe classroom environment.
• Supervise student safety during arrival, dismissal, lunch, and hallways.
• Support students with diverse learning needs with additional help.
