Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or Associate’s degree.
• Previous experience working with children in an educational or youth-focused setting.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Ideal candidate possesses patience, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers by assisting with lesson activities, classroom management, and transitions.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce skills and support individualized learning plans.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, orderly, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Substitute for lead teachers as needed to ensure learning continues uninterrupted.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with grading or documentation as directed.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to meet academic and social-emotional needs of students.
• Model professionalism and high expectations in every interaction.
