Job summary

Milwaukee Area Technical College is seeking a grant-funded AEFL coordinator to assist students, faculty, and staff with academic and tutorial support. The role includes recruitment, retention activities, and coordinating tutoring in the AEFL programs across MATC campus locations.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in relevant fields and at least three years of experience; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a field related to higher education, education administration or adult education.
• At least three (3) total years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides course placement, monitor grade level gains, and case management for referrals to programs; transitions students to post-secondary programs or job placement.
• Advises students on enrollment and program requirements; assists with financial aid applications and registration.
• Coordinates activities to transition to post-secondary programs and career readiness.
• Provides individual student academic case management to support grade progression and referrals for services.
• Compiles, collects, submits, and presents center progress reports to administration and meets grant reporting requirements.
