Job summary

You will coach individuals and groups, monitor progress, refer students to campus resources, document meetings, and collaborate with faculty to accelerate progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in higher education, student affairs, counseling, or related field.
• Strong time management and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of campus constituencies.

Responsibilities

• Fosters persistence and completion of a caseload of students.
• Monitors progress with check-ins and outreach; responds to questions and needs.
• Conducts academic coaching through individual or group sessions.
• Assists students in developing self-efficacy and time management skills.
• Helps students develop learning strategies and study skills for courses.
• Refer students to appropriate resources and monitor progress.
• Maintain documentation of meetings and regular communications with students.
• Coordinate with faculty and staff to address academic needs.
