Job summary

Ember Education is seeking an Academic Coach to deliver proactive coaching and targeted outreach for online and on-ground students. You will conduct orientations, promote student resources, and document interactions in college systems while supporting learners in developing essential study skills.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in education or related fields, with a master’s preferred; experience in tutoring or teaching is valued and knowledge of APA format and Canvas is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Science, Math, English, or a medical related discipline.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive outreach and academic coaching to help students persist and succeed.
• Conduct orientations and seminars for online and in-person students.
• Promote library and student support resources to learners.
• Document student interactions accurately in college systems.
• Monitor attendance and progress; develop student success plans as needed.
• Assist with time management, study skills, and note-taking strategies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Science, Math, English, or a medical related discipline

Master’s degree preferred
