Overview:

The Academic/Student Services Manager is an exempt position responsible for teaching at least one course, accurately tracking attendance, submissions, and grades, and collaborating with various departments such as Admissions, Registrar, Academics, Financial Aid, and Career Services to support student progress from enrollment through internship completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adapt teaching materials and methods to facilitate student skill development.
• Evaluate student learning and provide feedback.
• Complete scheduling and counsel students on course grades.
• Implement communication plans with assigned students via phone and email.
• Join Module 1 classes daily to ensure student integration.
• Coordinate with other departments by directing students appropriately.
• Manage lab supply requisitions and ordering processes.
• Maintain accurate records of enrollment, attendance, progress, and outcomes; prepare reports timely.
• Complete advising records and counsel students as needed.
• Work with Career Services to ensure students complete required immunizations and physicals prior to internships.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Medical Assistance Certificate or an Associate’s degree in a healthcare field; higher degrees preferred.
• Current credentials in their area of expertise.
• Possession of a New York Education Department teaching license; assistance available if needed.
• At least two years of relevant instructional experience preferred.
• Managerial experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and effective team player.
