Position Title Academic Scholar - Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, Division of Cardiology - Department of Medicine
The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences ( JSMBS ), Department of Medicine is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor(commensurate with experience and credentials).
The cardiologist will work with colleagues in noninvasive imaging, serve on the inpatient cardiology consult service and develop an outpatient practice in our downtown and/or suburban location.
Successful candidates will have expertise in:
- Echocardiography
- Nuclear cardiology
- Advanced cardiac imaging
The Gates Vascular Institute and the UB Clinical and Translational Research center provide a state-of-the-art environment for pursuing cardiovascular care and clinical and translational research. Protected time will be provided to those with demonstrated potential to pursue careers as a physician scientist in clinical or basic research.

- BC/BE Internal Medicine
- BC/BE Cardiovascular diseases
- New York State license or NYS Licensure in progress and active on date of hire
- Current and Unrestricted DEA Certificate
