Position Title Pediatric Endocrinologist - Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor - Division of Endocrinology/Diabetes, Department of Pediatrics

The Department of Pediatrics , University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo is recruiting for a full-time Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Division of Endocrinology/Diabetes. The ideal candidate will hold a medical degree and be board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology.

The candidate will provide clinical care for children and young adults with endocrine disorders and both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. This position includes inpatient clinical duties, and outpatient care in our newly remodeled dedicated outpatient center as well as satellite clinics in the Western New York region. Additionally, you will contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows through didactic teaching, clinical supervision, and mentorship. Interest in quality improvement and clinical research is encouraged.

The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology/Diabetes is a busy practice with 6 BC Pediatric Endocrinologists and an ACGME accredited fellowship program. The division sees approximately 8,000 patients per year. Our division is recognized for strong clinical research.

UBMD Pediatrics is one of 18 practice plans within UBMD Physicians’ Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York. We provide premier health care to infants, children, adolescents and adults. In addition to primary care pediatrics, we have 14 pediatric subspecialties. Our physicians make up the academic teaching faculty within the Department of Pediatrics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo and at Oshei Children’s Hospital.
