Job summary

Lawrence School is seeking an Academic Registrar to oversee student records, SIS maintenance, and data processes across the Lower and Upper School campuses. This role focuses on accuracy, efficient data workflows, and collaborative operations with Enrollment Management and school leadership.

The registrar will lead data governance, train staff on SIS tools, and ensure compliant record-keeping for attendance, grading, transcripts, and enrollment actions while supporting multi-campus scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with student information systems and relational databases preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and data integrity are critical.
• Experience in an academic environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• System Oversight: Manage the SIS, supervise upgrades, evaluate new solutions.
• Data Integrity & Security: Ensure data accuracy, security, and controls.
• Training & Support: Educate faculty and staff on SIS usage for attendance, grading, and records.
• Records & Enrollment Administration: Maintain comprehensive student records, enrollments, transcripts, scheduling.
• Reporting & Grading: Manage grading cycles and generate reports, transcripts, GPA calculations.
• Leadership & Coordination: Support campus admin with data analysis and cross‑department collaboration.
