Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an experienced study coordinator to support survey research projects. You will plan, implement, and evaluate study activities in collaboration with investigators and data staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating recruitment, data collection, training staff, monitoring quality control, and reporting progress. A Bachelor's in a relevant field and two years of survey research experience are required; a Master's is preferred. This is a grant-funded position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, Public Health, Basic Science, or a relevant clinical discipline with two years survey research experience including interviewing, supervision of data collection procedures, and training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; knowledge of data processing and statistical analysis; understanding of scientific principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate phases of assigned projects and translate planning decisions into concrete tasks.
• Coordinate administration and coordination of various study aspects.
• Ensure study activities conform to the protocol.
• Coordinate hiring, training, direction, and evaluation of study staff.
• Coordinate recruitment, data collection, and follow-up activities.
• Develop and revise study materials, forms, manuals, and brochures as requested.
• Develop reporting procedures and provide progress reports.
• Establish quality control procedures and computerized monitoring/reporting methods.
• Represent the project to community agencies and organizations as liaison and spokesperson.
• Maintain billing files for project accounts and ensure supplies for the project.
