Job summary

UIC Global, a partnership between the University of Illinois at Chicago and Shorelight, seeks an Academic Operations Coordinator to support the academic team and manage student data. The role focuses on tracking KPI’s, advising students, and coordinating course registrations and services for international students.

The AOC will maintain accurate records, develop dashboards, and collaborate with university staff to ensure a smooth transition to degree programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 1+ years working experience in higher education or registrar’s office.
• High proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access.
• Ability to work limited evenings and weekends.
• Eligibility to work in and travel freely to and from the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data collection and report on Academic KPI’s.
• Maintain student academic history and performance tracking.
• Register students in courses in the SIS.
• Develop and present workshops with Student Services.
• Assist in orientation sessions and academic overview delivery.
• Serve as SME and liaison to the Student Services team.
• Coordinate academic support services with the university.
