Job summary

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Rock County Campus is seeking a Program Specialist (Academic Program Specialist, AE010) to contribute to the development, administration, coordination, and evaluation for bachelor degree completion programs and pathways in the College of Integrated Studies. These programs include the BAAS, Partners in Engineering, and the K-9 Teaching Emphasis.

The academic program coordinator reports to the Director of the Solution Center and will coordinate with partners,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of three years of professional higher education experience, student-facing and/or student support role.
• Experience in training, presenting, or teaching diverse populations.
• Ability to work with internal and external teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as advisor for BAAS students by assisting students with program planning, general course selection, registration, and schedule review.
• Develop recruitment plans for the BAAS and Partners in Engineering Programs.
• Coordinate program components and evaluate program effectiveness for continuous improvement.
• Liaise with academic partners on program needs and licensure requirements.
• Assist with onboarding students and participate in campus events.
