The UNCG Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) is one of ten departments and programs in the School of Health and Human Sciences (HHS). The UNCG CSD Department offers Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. The UNCG CSD Master’s (MA) program in Speech-Language Pathology is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of ASHA and was recognized by Best Value School as being the number two Masters in Speech Pathology in 2021.

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is hiring a 12-month Clinical Educator at the rank of Academic Professional Track Assistant Professor. Primary responsibilities will include management and coordination of clinical learning for all students enrolled in the online program; providing clinical supervision of graduate students via telepractice and/or clinical simulation; engaging in clinical education and instruction; and delivering coursework and instruction on clinical strategies. The externship coordinator is responsible for fostering positive relationships with clinical educators affiliated with the online program, and coordinating external community placement sites, including the development of new externship sites. Additional responsibilities may include service to the department, college, and university, and other responsibilities as assigned.
