Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• HPM fellowship trained.
• Board Certified or Board eligible in HPM.
• Interest in teaching, mentorship, and academic medicine.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive symptom management and support for patients with serious illness and their families.
• Facilitate discussions toward goal-concordant care and complex medical decision making.
• Blend inpatient consultative palliative care with outpatient practice.
• Engage in education, scholarship, quality improvement, and program development.
