Albany Medical College/Albany Medical Health System is seeking an academic non-invasive cardiologist (Assistant, Associate or full Professor) to join our growing team in the Capital Region of New York. Training in CMR/CT or preventive cardiology is a plus and you will practice the full scope of non-invasive cardiology in a collaborative, academic environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases.
• Training and/or experience in CMR/CCT or Prevention strongly desired.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
• Strong dedication to providing high-quality, patient centered care across diverse populations.
• Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• General/Preventive cardiology office based practice.
• CCU and inpatient consult service duties.
• Focus on cardiovascular MRI, CT and/or echocardiography based on training/experience.
• Comprehensive academic environment with opportunities for teaching medical students, residents and cardiology fellows.
• Opportunities to develop or participate in clinical/translational research.
• Collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team of APPs, nurses and technicians.
