Job summary

Albany Medical College/Albany Medical Health System seeks an academic non-invasive cardiologist to join our growing team in the Capital Region of New York. The role emphasizes CMR/CT or preventive cardiology within an integrated academic setting.

This position offers opportunities for teaching students and fellows, plus research in a collaborative environment across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases.
• Training/experience in CMR/CMCT or Prevention strongly desired.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.

Responsibilities

• CCU and inpatient consult service duties.
• Focus on cardiovascular MRI, CT and/or echocardiography according to training/experience.
• Teach medical students, residents and cardiology fellows; participate in research.
• Collaborate with APPs, nurses and technicians in a multidisciplinary team.
