Albany Medical Health System's Division of Cardiology seeks an academic non-invasive cardiologist (Assistant, Associate or Professor) to join our growing team in New York. Training in CMR/CT or Preventive Cardiology is a plus; opportunity to practice the full scope of non-invasive cardiology in a collaborative, academic environment.

Position details include general/preventive cardiology clinic work, CCU/inpatient consults, and opportunities to teach students and fellows with a dedicated research

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases
• Training in CMR/CCT or Prevention strongly desired
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
• Strong dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations
• Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare providers

Responsibilities

• General/Preventive cardiology office-based practice
• CCU and inpatient consult service duties
• Focus on cardiovascular MRI, CT and/or echocardiography based on training/experience
• Teaching medical students, residents and cardiology fellows
• Opportunities to develop or participate in clinical/translational research
• Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment
