Job summary

Albany Medical College/Albany Medical Health System seeks an academic non-invasive cardiologist (Assistant, Associate or full Professor) to join our growing team in the Capital Region of New York. The role emphasizes a full scope of non-invasive cardiology within a collaborative, academic setting.

Training/experience in cardiovascular MRI/CT or preventive cardiology is a plus. Teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and participating in research are core components of the position.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases.
• Training/experience in CMR/CCT or preventive cardiology.
• Active New York medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• General/Preventive cardiology office-based practice.
• CCU and inpatient consult service duties.
• Focus on cardiovascular MRI, CT and/or echocardiography based on training/experience.
• Academic environment with teaching opportunities for students, residents and fellows.
• Opportunities to develop or participate in clinical/translational research.
• Collaborative multidisciplinary team involvement.
