Job summary

Albany Medical College/Albany Med Health System seeks an academic non-invasive cardiologist (Assistant, Associate or full Professor) to join a growing team in the Capital Region of New York. Training in CMR/CT or Preventive Cardiology is a plus, with opportunities to teach students and fellows in a robust academic setting.

The role encompasses CCU/inpatient consults and a full scope of non-invasive cardiology, with potential for clinical/translational research and collaboration with an APP/nurse

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in cardiovascular diseases.
• Training and/or experience in CMR/CT or Prevention strongly desired.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.

Responsibilities

• CCU and inpatient consult service duties.
• Focus on cardiovascular MRI, CT and/or echocardiography based on training/experience.
• Comprehensive academic environment with opportunities for teaching medical students, residents and cardiology fellows.
• Opportunities to develop or participate in clinical/translational research.
• Collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team of APPs, nurses and technicians.
