Job summary

Bluegrass Community & Technical College seeks a Staff Librarian (Library Associate III) to provide reference and research support across in-person and virtual platforms. The role delivers information literacy instruction and develops learning resources, collaborating with faculty to support curriculum-aligned collections and student success across campus.

The position reports to the Director of Library Services and participates in outreach, professional development, and service roles, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Library Science or related field.
• At least three years of professional library experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide reference and research assistance in person and online.
• Deliver information literacy instruction and develop instructional materials.
• Collaborate with faculty to align collections with curriculum and student learning priorities.
• Support library operations and participate in committees and professional development.
