Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library Science (ALA-accredited)
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in a library reference role
• Combination of education, training, coursework, and experience may qualify candidates

Responsibilities

• Teach information literacy and research using activity-based learning
• Lead workshops and orient new students to college programs
• Design and implement instructional tutorials and materials
• Collaborate with faculty to align instruction with curricula
• Provide reference and research support to students and staff
• Manage library instruction at off-campus sites
• Oversee a section of the library collection and related budget
• Promote library services and programs through events and communications
• Maintain respectful and inclusive library environment
• Attend meetings and participate in library committees
