Job summary

The Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing at the University of South Carolina is seeking an IT System Administrator to support teaching, research, and administration. You will manage and support a diverse computing environment, collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and researchers, and implement secure, scalable technology solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with Windows, Linux/UNIX, macOS environments and enterprise endpoint management.
Strong scripting or automation experience.

Responsibilities

Manage and support departmental IT systems for teaching, research, and administration.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and researchers to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.
Support secure research computing environments and ensure regulatory compliance.
Supervise student IT employees and coordinate workload, documentation, and training.
