Job summary

The Radiology Department at Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join our growing team. The candidate will join a division of dedicated Interventional Radiologists, an IR Physician Assistant and an IR Nurse Practitioner.

The candidate will perform a wide range of challenging and interesting procedures as Stony Brook is a Level 1 trauma center and the only tertiary care hospital in Suffolk County with a large referral base.

Qualifications

• MD/DO (or foreign equivalent).
• NY Licensure (eligible).
• Board Certified (eligible) in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology at an ACGME-accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of challenging and interesting IR procedures.
• Hold an academic appointment with Renaissance School of Medicine and teach residents, fellows and medical students.
• Support the ESIR program and potential Integrated IR Fellowship.
• Pursue leadership opportunities and engage in research.

Education
