Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid Professional Educator License with Illinois State Board of Education or enrollment in Teacher Certification program within 30 days.
• Travel as required for training, professional development, and collaboration.
• Commitment to supporting students’ social, emotional and academic development.

Responsibilities

• Implement the DS Model.
• Provide instruction aligned to grade-level standards with frequent checks for understanding.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
• Engage families with communications about progress and goals.
• Participate in required professional development and meetings.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.
