Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an academically oriented Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join the Upper Extremity Service on a full-time basis in North Carolina. Candidates should have DO/MD (or equivalent), complete a Hand Fellowship, and be Board Certified or Board eligible in Orthopaedics; responsibilities include hand, micro and nerve surgery, trauma and reconstructive work.

Qualifications

• DO, MD, or equivalent.
• Completion of a one year Hand Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board eligible in Orthopaedics.

Responsibilities

• Hand, micro, and nerve surgery as the clinical focus.
• Take general orthopaedic call for the practice.
• Hand trauma, elective hand surgery, and microvascular reconstruction of the upper extremities.
• Engage in education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Commitment to clinical care with a team-oriented approach.
