The Medical University of South Carolinaepartment of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine seeks an academically oriented General Surgical Pathologist with interest in Gynecological Pathology. Board-certified AP or AP/CP; 1–3 years post-fellowship preferred; current fellows may be considered.

The role includes frozen section coverage, on-call duties, and active participation in teaching residents and fellows, with potential translational research collaboration.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree with pathology specialty training and certification by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology.
• Fellowship training in Gynecological Pathology; Board certification in AP or AP/CP.

Responsibilities

• Covers general frozen section services.
• Shares general surgical pathology call.
• Instructs medical students and trains pathology residents and fellows.
• Participates in academic mission of Hollings Cancer Center programs and tumor boards.
