Job summary

Promega Corporation is seeking a Market Development Intern to support the Academia & Government segment within the Strategic Marketing team. The role involves market research, customer segmentation, content creation, and campaign support, reporting to the Market Development Manager.

You will help develop training materials, sales enablement tools, and CRM records while contributing to global marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills in scientific and marketing contexts.
• Experience with marketing content creation and social media management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing customer personas and market segmentation for targeted campaigns.
• Support market and competitive research and summarize findings for the team.
• Create marketing content including social posts, blogs, presentations, emails, and event collateral.
• Collaborate to develop training materials, playbooks, and sales enablement tools.
• Analyze marketing metrics and campaign performance; provide optimization recommendations.
• Coordinate tradeshows and academic outreach events, including logistics and post-event follow-up.
• Maintain CRM records and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Work with Product Marketing, Branch Marketing, and Sales to align global and regional campaigns.
• Complete an intern project and present findings to SBU leadership.
• Demonstrate inclusion, ethical conduct, and Promega's core principles in daily work.
