Boston Medical Center, in partnership with Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine, seeks a fellowship-trained geriatrician to join the Section of Geriatrics in a dynamic, interdisciplinary setting. The role focuses on caring for home-bound elders, participating in ambulatory clinics, and serving as an attending on inpatient teaching services.

Qualificações

ABIM Certification in Geriatric Medicine is required.
Credentialing at Boston Medical Center is required.
Current MA professional medical license, Federal DEA and MA Controlled Substance Registration are required.

Responsabilidades

Provide care to home bound elders and work in the Geriatrics Ambulatory Clinic.
Attend on the Geriatrics inpatient teaching service and/or Geriatric Inpatient consult service.
Mentor medical students, internal medicine residents, and fellows in Geriatric Medicine and Geriatric Oncology.
Protected time for Section meetings, academic activities and leadership development.
Collaborative research opportunities and/or palliative care work are available.
Clinicians are assisted in creating mentoring teams to maximize job satisfaction and academic success.
