Baystate Health in western Massachusetts seeks an experienced Geriatrician to join our staff at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. You will join the Division of Geriatric Medicine and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to grow the inpatient geriatric program at a 700+ bed academic medical center.
The role emphasizes consults-only inpatient care and teaching residents and medical students in partnership with UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate.
Qualifications
- ABMS BC/BE in Geriatric Medicine and a strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning.
Responsibilities
- Grow and develop the inpatient geriatric program at Baystate Medical Center.
- See a wide variety of consults on inpatient service; interest in geriatric trauma surgery consults.
- Teach residents, medical students and other learners in partnership with UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate.
- Leadership promotes work-life balance with no call, nights, or weekends.
