Job summary

Weber State University in Ogden, Utah is seeking an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for its OTA program. This tenure-track faculty role will lead fieldwork operations and collaborate with the Program Director to align curriculum with ACOTE standards.

The AFWC will develop fieldwork sites, manage affiliations, coordinate student placements, and teach OTA and Rehab Sciences courses while contributing to program assessment and improvement.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing as an OT/OTA in Utah or eligibility with licensure by start date.
• Master’s degree from USDE-recognized accredited institution.
• Minimum two years of documented professional OT/OTA experience including clinical practice and fieldwork education responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple fieldwork sites and communicate with partners, Program Director, and faculty.
• Manage affiliation agreements, clinical training agreements, and MOUs with university offices.
• Teach OTA and Rehabilitation Sciences courses; provide mentorship and remedial instruction.
• Develop, implement, and maintain fieldwork policies and procedures aligned with ACOTE standards.
• Oversee Level I/II fieldwork placements and ensure site suitability and student progress.
