Albany Medical College is recruiting an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The role combines clinical care with education for students, residents and fellows in a collegial, multidisciplinary setting.

The division offers opportunities to teach across levels, participate in conferences, and focus on areas such as thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, and transgender medicine leveraging a robust diabetes education team and ultrasound/FNA facilities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/board eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Exposure to a wide variety of endocrinopathies as part of a tertiary referral center.
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team, including CDCES.
• Utilize an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Opportunity to work in specific areas of endocrinology (e.g., thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine).
