The role combines clinical care with establishing and sustaining an independently funded, high-impact research program supported by NIH or equivalent extramural funding.

The ideal candidate will show strong scholarly productivity, potential for sustained external funding, and a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration across CU Anschutz

Qualifications

• MD/DO with current Colorado medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Established an independent research program capable of securing extramural funding.
• Focus on NIH or equivalent extramural funding and high-impact research.

Responsibilities

• Research: establish and sustain an independently funded program with NIH or equivalent funding.
• Research: develop and submit competitive federal and foundation grant applications.
• Research: conduct translational, clinical, health services, or implementation science in Emergency Medicine.
• Clinical: provide high-quality emergency care to adults and children as attending physician.
• Teaching: bedside teaching and supervision of residents, fellows, and students.
