Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our academic faculty. The role covers the full spectrum of electrophysiology in a collaborative academic environment.

The Division is expanding with 18 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits in a historic New York capital region setting.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research and teaching abilities for academic appointment.
• Leadership and collaboration are highly valued.
• Experience with complex ablations, lead extraction and advanced device therapy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and APPs.
