Washington State University in Pullman, WA seeks an Academic Coordinator/Advisor to advise undergraduate Construction Management students, develop academic plans, and support recruitment and retention activities. You will coordinate advising workshops, manage program data, and help with university requirements and degree planning.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 2 years of advising experience; a master’s may substitute for one year.

As the School of Design and Construction (SDC) Academic Coordinator/Advisor, the majority of your responsibilities will include duties such as, but not limited to, academic coordination and advising for prospective and current undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Science in Construction Management program in the SDC; analyzing applications for certification; assessing academic level; responding to academic inquiries; academic advising, including developing individual academic plans; educating students in the areas of academic planning, interpretation of department, school, college, and university requirements, degree requirements, career exploration, and other related matters; counseling non-students about possible admission to university programs; providing academic planning advice for prospective transfer students; and providing support for processes associated with admission to the major. The position has additional duties outside of student advisement essential to the effective operation of academic programs at the SDC, such as participating in program development for academic advising; coordinating student advising workshops and campus visits; providing coordination and support for recruitment and retention activities; assisting with the development of unit procedures and methodologies; and contributing to the management of program data collection and assessment activities.
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. Monthly Salary: $3,750.85 - $5,397.56 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
