Job summary

Rum River Special Education Co-Op is seeking a paraeducator to assist certified staff in meeting instructional goals and to relieve teachers from non-professional duties. You will support students one-to-one or in groups, help with behavior management, and prepare instructional materials.

Responsibilities include supervising students, documenting behavior, and coordinating with teachers on IEP objectives. Travel between schools may be required; this is a non-exempt, benefit-eligible position

Qualifications

• Assist students under supervision to meet instructional goals.
• Record and document behaviors and incidents.
• Collaborate with teachers on IEP objectives and materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist students one-to-one or in small groups.
• Support classroom discipline and positive behavior.
• Prepare materials for lessons and IEP accommodations.
• Supervise students in hallways, lunchroom, and on field trips.
• Document incidents and behavior observations.
