Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of a partner company is seeking an Academic and Athletic Compliance Coordinator based in the United States. This role supports institutional compliance across student enrollment, financial aid, academic records, and collegiate athletics, working with the Registrar and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant data.

The position involves federal reporting, regulatory interpretation, and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Experience in higher education, particularly with academic records, enrollment, compliance, or student services.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and analysis of large datasets.
• Experience with Jenzabar or another SIS is preferred.
• Ability to interpret, apply, and communicate complex federal, state, institutional, and athletic rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of FERPA and protecting confidential student information.
• Strong written and verbal communication with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and athletic personnel.

Responsibilities

• Compile, review, analyze, and maintain student enrollment data for federal and institutional reporting.
• Prepare and submit enrollment information to the National Student Clearinghouse and correct discrepancies.
• Respond to NSLDS requests and coordinate updates with students.
• Monitor dates for drops, withdrawals, and other enrollment changes and maintain documentation.
• Provide reports to Financial Aid and VA School Certifying Officials to support compliance and audits.
• Assess initial and continuing athletic eligibility against applicable requirements.
• Collaborate with athletic leadership, faculty, coaches, and student-athletes to resolve eligibility issues.
• Distribute athletic data for recognition programs and institutional reporting needs.
• Coordinate with Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, Accounting to evaluate retroactive withdrawal requests.
• Execute administrative withdrawal processes including communications and record reviews.
