Compile, review, analyze, and maintain studentenrollment data, ensuringaccuracy and integrityfor required federaland institutional reporting.
Prepare and submit enrollment informationto the NationalStudent Clearinghouse,investigate discrepancies, and correct sourceor reporting datawhen necessary.
Respond to National Student Loan Database System (NSLDS) Student StatusConfirmation Report requests, researching flagged recordsand coordinating updatesor follow-upwith students.
Monitor and communicateeffective dates forcourse drops, withdrawals, and other enrollmentchanges using academicactivity, system records, and supporting documentation.
Provide accurate reports and documentation to stakeholders, including Financial Aidand VA SchoolCertifying Officials, tosupport compliance andaudit readiness.
Assess initial and continuing athletic eligibility by reviewing transcripts, test scores, eligibility records, and supporting documentation againstapplicable athletic associationand institutional requirements.
Coordinate with athletic leadership, faculty representatives, coaches, and student-athletes to resolveeligibility issues andsubmit required eligibilityrosters and documentation.
Compile and distribute individual and team athletic data for recognition programs and otherinstitutional reportingneeds.
Collaborate with EnrollmentServices, Financial Aid, Accounting, and otherdepartments to evaluateretroactive withdrawalrequests and determineappropriate effective datesbased on regulationsand institutional policy.
Execute administrativewithdrawal processes, includingcommunications, reporting, record review, andbatch or individualwithdrawals.
Respond to student and faculty/staff inquiries by phone and email while supportingbroader registrar functionssuch as transcripts, enrollment and degreeverification, grading,graduation, degree checks, and course scheduling.
Maintain accurate records of academic programs offered across campus locationsand assist withspecial projects anddepartmental priorities.
Bachelor’s degree required, with at least two years of relevantprofessional experience.
Previous experience workingin higher educationis required, particularlyin an environmentinvolving academic records, enrollment, compliance, or student services.
Strong proficiency withcomputer applications,particularly Microsoft Exceland the analysisof large datasets.
Experience with Jenzabaror another StudentInformation System (SIS) is preferred.
Strong analytical andproblem-solving abilities, with exceptional attentionto detail anddata accuracy.
Ability to interpret, apply, and communicate complex federal, state, institutional,and athletic rulesand regulations.
Knowledge of FamilyEducational Rights andPrivacy Act (FERPA) requirements and theimportance of protectingconfidential student information.
Strong writtenand verbal communicationskills, with theability to workeffectively with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and athletic personnel.
Sound professional judgment and the ability to enforcepolicies and regulationsconsistently and appropriately.
