As an Academic Advisor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their educational and career goals by providing personalized academic guidance, connecting them with campus resources, and supporting their progress from orientation through graduation. Working collaboratively with faculty and staff, you’ll help prepare the next generation of criminal justice professionals while contributing to a dynamic, student-centered academic community committed to excellence, innovation, and workforce development. The Academic Advisor position works primarily advising UNO students in criminology and criminal justice and supports and assists the college, department and peer advisors on project responsibilities.
