The New School seeks a Student Success Academic Advisor to support undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Drama within the College of Performing Arts.

The role provides holistic guidance on degree requirements, policies, and registration, while connecting students to campus services. The advisor contributes to university-wide initiatives and reports to the Director of Student Success Advising.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience with a focus on student engagement and advising.
• Demonstrated experience with programs in the dramatic arts (acting, playwriting, directing).
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Advise students to support their academic/artistic progress via appointments and drop-ins.
• Maintain student records in institutional systems accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with faculty and program directors on academic planning and communications.
